[edit] Biograpy
Li-Ron Choir, was established in 1980 as the choir of Gordon School in Herzliya by Ronit Shapira but since 1989 has been managed by an independent organization. Currently the choir represents Herzliya locally and abroad. The choir is comprised of three groups: children between the ages of 6-11, teenagers from 12-18 and a vocal ensemble.
The goal of the choir is twofold: educational - the development of tolerance and empathy, and musical - the development of listening skills (for oneself and others) and the ability to process the content of the music.

since 1991 the choir had participated in several international competitions:
- 1991–England, Wales – Gold medal
- 1995–Hungary, Budapest – Gold medal, 1st Prize
- 1996–Israel, Netanya – Gold medal, 1st Prize
- 1997–Germany, Giessen – Gold medal
- 1998–Italy, Salsemaggiore – Gold medal, 1st Prize
- 2000 – Italy, Grado – two Gold medals
- 2002–Spain, Tolosa–1st Prize
- 2003 - England, Wales - Third Prize in vocal groups competition.
- 2004–Germany, Bremen ("Choir Olympics") - Two gold medals.
- 2006–China, Xiamen ("Choir Olympics") – Gold medal and a 1st Prize.

The repertoire of the choir includes classical music, folk songs, Jewish and Israeli music.
Many Israeli composers such as: Sara Shoham, Andre Hajdu, Menachem Wiesenberg, Ovadia Tuvia, Moshe Rasiuk, Mary Even-or and Moshe Zorman have written special choral works for the choir.
