Lhanbryde

Lhanbryde (Gaelic: Lann Brìghde) is a village in Moray, Scotland, four miles east of Elgin. Previously bisected by the A96, it was bypassed in the early 1990s and now lies to the north of this busy trunk road. Pupils from the local Primary School, Lhanbryde Primary School, depending where they live either go to Milnes High School or one of the two Elgin high schools, Elgin Academy or Elgin High School.
A member of the Knights Templar is buried in the Lhanbryde cemetery.
Lhanbryde is also home to the famous UK DJ Steven Foy (Foys Discotecka) It was in Elgin High School that he performed the set which got him noticed by Aberdeen based music producer, Mike Mahoolihan.
Following successful shows in and around Lhanbryde, Steven took his set to the big cities and made quite a name for himself. He went down a storm in Glasgow, and it was there that he was noticed by a representative from Sony.
A record deal was signed, and in the summer of 2007 his 'Anthem' Purple Head was a huge success on the summer club circuit securing his future in the industry.
So far this year we havn't seen much of Steven, according to sources a new album is being released in early august named "an inch of mine equals leroy times nine" An unusual title that, according to Long time fiance Lizzie, is a tribute to long term friend and houseguest Leroy Brown.
