[edit] Opening line

The opening line of this article: "LGBT rights in Egypt are limited to nonexistent, because homosexuality is strictly taboo in Egypt" is neither grammatical nor particularly insightful. I have amended it accordingly. --Augustusr (talk) 14:15, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

The article also needs updating with respect to the last series of arrests of HIV-positive men "accused" of homosexuality. — Zerida 22:06, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
