Homosexuality is legal under the Monegasque Penal Code. Criminal penalties for homosexual acts were eliminated in 1793 due to the adoption of French laws.

As of January 2007, Monaco provides no civil unions or recognition of same-sex partners.See ILGA list of same-sex marriage and partnership by country

The age of consent is set at 16 years.[1] There are no official gay places in Monaco.
