The LG VX9400 is a mobile phone made by LG Electronics which works with the mobile carrier Verizon Wireless in the United States. It is one of the first two (the other is the Samsung SCH-U620) to support live mobile TV broadcasts using Qualcomm's MediaFLO technology. The QVGA display's unique design swings up into landscape orientation for TV viewing. Other key features of this CDMA phone include stereo Bluetooth, a memory card slot, digital music player, EVDO high-speed data connectivity, and speakerphone.[1][2]

The phone is compatible with BitPim 1.0 to upload ringtones, transfer wallpaper, backup SMS messages. The current available software version is v02. Like Verizon Wireless's EVDO coverage, MediaFLO TV is not available in all areas. Currently, the phone does not have individual contact ringtones for text messages.
