Leytonstone High Road railway station is a train station in Leytonstone, London in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, on the Gospel Oak to Barking line, between Leyton Midland Road and Wanstead Park. It has two platforms, named "West" and "East", that are elevated approximately 20 feet above ground level, each of which contains a metal shelter, covered but not completely enclosed. Ticket machines and Oyster validators (for touching in and out) are installed under the arch at the foot of the stairs in the picture. It is also served by London Buses route 257 and London Buses route W14

The typical off-peak service from the station is 2 trains per hour in each direction every day until about 7:30pm, and then 1 train per hour in each direction until the close of service. At peak hours the service is every 20 minutes[1]. Jammed by the side of the railway was where Leytonstone/Ilford fc played.
