Lexington High School is located in the city of Lexington, Illinois, USA.

Lexington is well known for its academics. Both the elementary and high schools are highly rated in the state. The elementary school is recognized for scoring well on the Illinois Standard Achievement Test (ISAT).

The Lexington High School athletic teams consist of 14 boys and girls sports. Lexington has had a true tradition of high school football. With 4 state championship trips (1980, 1984, 1994, 2001). Lexington has had a true tradition of high school football. They have been to the state championship 4 times total (1980, 1984, 1994, 2001). They were under head coach Don Tanney, until he retired last year. In 2007 they are under head coach Mike Castleman (previously from Tremont High School).
