[edit] Overview

Lexi is the oldest daughter of Carrie Nicholls; however, Carrie introduced Lexi as her sister, and it initially appeared Lexi thought Carrie genuinely was her sister. She arrived in the Dales fresh from a stint in a foreign prison following her conviction for drug-related crimes. Carrie, shocked to see her secret daughter, began to panic when the skeletons she thought she'd trapped in her closet began to encroach on her Yorkshire life.

[edit] Necklace Theft

In September 2007 Debbie, her aunt Chas Dingle, and Lexi came up with a plan to steal a £50,000 worth necklace from a jewelry auction at home farm. Lexi cut the power from the power-supply and, in the dark, Debbie snatched the necklace and hid it in her inside pocket of her jacket. The three women then cut a deal with Eric Pollard to sell the necklace to him, but Debbie wasn't happy about the money been cut four ways, so her and Eric Pollard concocted a plan to replace the necklace with a fake and keep the real one for themselves, so they could share the money between them, unknown to Chas and Lexi.

[edit] Lexi's Parentage

On 14th September 2007 Lexi overheard Debbie and Pollard discussing the scam. She then had a fight with Debbie in the street. after a row with Carrie, Lexi revealed that her grandmother had confessed on her deathbed that her 'sister' was in fact her mother. Carrie was just 14 when she had Lexi and Lexi's father was a lad called Barry who was 17 when Lexi was born.

[edit] Ross

Lexi began sleeping with Ross Kirk, not realising Chas was doing the same. When they found out, they got revenge on him.

[edit] Relationship with Carl King

When Carl King left his brothers Jimmy and Matthew to work for Miles De Souza, Matthew blackmailed Lexi into being his spy; if she refused, then he'd tell Scarlett about what she'd done with men while working as a lap dancer. Carl's ex, Chas, worked out what Lexi had in mind, and warned Carl, but he hired Lexi anyway. They soon began sleeping together and as she fell in love with Carl, Lexi was increasingly reluctant to work as Matthew's double agent.

Carl found that his proposals had been stolen and were being used by Matthew. Carl blamed Jimmy and punched him, telling Lexi she was all he had left. Soon, Jimmy told Carl and Miles the truth. Carl made up with his brothers, and Lexi lost her job and the man she loved.
