Template talk:Lewis and Harris
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I don't want to mess up the template as it's so well designed, but should St Clement's Church be added to the places of interest as it seems very Lewis-centered? (Morris MacIver)
- Yes, definitely! This is a start basically. For some reason the Lewis article is better written than the Harris one, I'm afraid. :( --MacRusgail (talk) 17:02, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

- That could be because I went through a very active phase a few months back and attacked the Lewis article but kind of stopped before the Harris one. I really quite like this template anyway. Shouldn't Scalpay be moved to inhabited islands too? Trying to think if there are any others.MRM (talk) 18:33, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

- St Clems is now in the template... As for the pop. - it shifts as you know. Some islands can be inhabited for a year or two... Scalpay's now moved - I confused Scarp and Scalpay... --MacRusgail (talk) 19:14, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

- Templates are a nightmare. I still don't understand them, let alone infoboxes. I cut and paste and hope for the best. :*) --MacRusgail (talk) 20:31, 18 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clisham, Calanais
I've had a go and think I've managed to add the Clisham.MRM (talk) 22:20, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Calanais
There are a number of smaller stone circles called "Calanais", quite a number. I don't think it would be appropriate to (even try to) include them all, but should any of the others (other than the main one) be included? I is the main one, II, III, IV and VIII seem to be the main other ones; many with their own wiki pages. Any opinions?MRM (talk) 22:20, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've just left that, because there's so many of them. I think if people go to the main one, they should be able to head on from there. --MacRusgail (talk) 10:47, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
