Lewis Wrathmell

Lewis Franklin Wrathmell was a first class cricketer who made his only appearance for Yorkshire County Cricket Club against Cambridge University at Fenners in 1886. Batting at number 4 he scored 17 before he was caught by wicket keeper Knatchbull-Hugessen off the bowling of Dorman in Yorkshire's first innings of 154 and fell L.B.W. to the same bowler for just 1 as Yorkshire were bowled out for 124 to lose by 26 runs.
He was born on January 22, 1855 in Kirkheaton and died, aged 73, in Dewsbury on September 16, 1928.
