In January, 2002, Lewis Fidler began his first term as Councilman for the 46th District in New York City. As a Freshman Council Member, Fidler was selected by then Council Speaker Gifford Miller to serve as Chairperson of the Youth Services Committee. He currently holds a position on the Council leadership team as Assistant Majority Leader.
Councilman Fidler is a resident of the 46th Council District, where he resides with his wife, Robin and sons, Max and Harry.
