Lewie Day

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lewie Day is a 21 year old melbourne DJ. He is a resident DJ at Room (Thursdays), Bliss (Fridays), and One Love (Saturdays) [1]

Lewie began playing the piano at age four and as a young teen was already proficient on the guitar, drums and saxophone. This early musical influence gave Lewie an excellent grounding to evolve into the impressive and inspiring young producer and live performer that he is today.

Lewie's producing quality led to his being signed to Dave Seaman's AudioTherapy label, with his track 'Striptease' on the Autumn/Winter 2006 Therapy Sessions 3 Compilation. With global and domestic dj support, 'Striptease' reached fourth position on the progressive chart on Beatport, and was number one on KissFM for several weeks. His remixes of Amiel's 'Be Your Girl' for Warner Music, and Deepface's 'I want to live' on Fly Music, emphasise this talent for producing.

Lewie's first gig was at Room in November 2004, at the age of 18.
