Levi Porter, (born April 6, 1987) is an English professional footballer who currently plays for Leicester City. He was a product of the Leicester City Youth Squad, and plays occasionally in the first team.

[edit] Career

Porter made his debut for Leicester City in 2006, as a second half substitute against Ipswich and scored his first senior goal in November 2006 at home against Plymouth. He was match winner a few weeks later when he scored a last minute winner against Wolves at Molineux to give Leicester a 2-1 win.

He is tipped for a big future in the game, especially after putting in a Man of the Match performance in a 2-2 FA Cup draw against Fulham, during which he set up Danny Cadamarteri's last minute equaliser.[1]

On 31 October 2007, during the 2007/08 season, Porter suffered a knee injury believed to be cruciate knee ligament damage in a 4-3 Carling Cup defeat to Chelsea.[2] Scans revealed that the injury was mainly damage to his medial collateral ligament, but Porter will still be out for up to three months.[3]
