[edit] School site

The school is located at the centre of the estate and consists of five buildings.

  • Main school - This consists of four wings situated around the main hall. The wings are Administration, Reception/Year 1, Year 2/3, and Year 4/5/6.
  • Nursery - This is a separate prefabricated hut to the south of the site
  • Levendale Under Fives - This is a separate prefabricated hut to the north of the site.
  • Caretaker's Bungalow - This is a bungalow for the school caretaker, and is situated to the North West of the site.
  • The school also used to have a temporary classroom situated at the rear of the school commonly referred to as "the hut", but this was removed in the late 1990s.

The school also has two playgrounds to the North and South of the site, and a large playing field to the East, which is used regularly for local sports events, including the school's own Sports Day.[citation needed]

[edit] Logo

The current logo was designed in the mid-1990s and features Leven Bridge situated at Low Leven. It was based on the design of a pupil of the school, Rachel Flanagan.
