Levante, also referred to as El Levante (Spanish), is a name used to refer to the eastern Mediterranean coastal region of the Iberian Peninsula. It includes the Valencian Community, Murcia, Catalonia, Almería, the eastern part of Castile-La Mancha (Albacete and Cuenca), Granada and the southern part of Aragon. It roughly corresponds to the NUTS ES5 area.
