Levan Kobiashvili (Georgian: ლევან კობიაშვილი, born July 10, 1977 in Tbilisi) is a Georgian football midfielder. He weighs 79 kg and is 183 cm tall. He is married and has one child.
His career began in his hometown with Awasa Tbilisi. Moving to play for Metalurg Rustavi, Dinamo Tbilisi und Alania Vladikavkaz he was transferred to SC Freiburg in 1998. One of several Georgians in the Freiburg squad, he stayed there until 2003, when he was bought by Schalke 04.
He plays primarily as a defensive midfielder or left winger. His main strengths are his stamina and passing. Levan has a very strong left foot and is an excellent set-piece taker.
