RE Diamond Dallas Page's Wikipedia page

I chose to take this to somewhat "private" discussion.

I do thank you for the changing of NJ to New Jersey. It is a rookie slip-up and I had hoped someone more knowledgeable of Wiki would catch since Page is very intent on getting this article correct to chronology and actually facts, not fiction. He's rushing me on it and there are a lot of things about formatting that I have not had the time to learn prior to attempting the corrections that he feels are important. That opening paragraph was important to him. I understand your phrase of "creative writing" and will attempt to work around that ... looking at other wrestler - and public figure - sites I see most are not flamboyant but are quite dry to read as an encyclopedia usually is. - SADLY - more people would read them if the writing was a bit more interesting.

Per your comments: 1) Yes I have the right plumbing but thats off subject. I do apologize for not being perfect in my working around on Wikipedia. I'm sure your help will be greatly influential in my future corrections of erroneous information.

2) I was not "hinting" at anything. He's a friend - period. I've known him personally for over a year and followed his career since he first hit the stage as a manager. He doesn't have the time to do tedious work such as correcting incorrect citings of his life and has asked me to do so USING the site that is closest to correct to his career. If you are a fan of his you'd want that too. He DID start out backwards from most wrestlers becoming a manager before wrestling himself and the words were Jorgensens' and I cited them that way.

I speak to him personally almost every day on the phone, via email or through Stickam. I will be using printed materials to verify anything he tells me to add from our conversations. I'm sure it's "somewhere" on this WWW, in his books (audio or printed) or others sites, books or other media to be cited.

3) The link for Jorgensens' site worked properly in both places, at the opening paragraph AND in the citations area. And no, your first post was not "signed" in the discussion area. It is blank - look for yourself.

BTW I assume the geographical comment later on the discussion page was yours too...again unsigned - I'm FROM southern NJ! I happen to know that the NY Giants and the Jets both use the stadium in north Jersey for practice and the Jets for home games! See Wiki article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meadowlands_Sports_Complex -AND- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Giants -AND- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Jets pay close attention to where they PLAY THEIR HOME GAMES!!!

MOST people in NJ *DESPISE* the NY teams and south Jersey people affiliate with the Philly teams. Where Page is from are a lot of Dallas Cowboy fans since the Cowboys and the NY teams are hard core rivals. Considering I've spent a LOT of my 42 years in that toxic state I think I've got a bit of NJ trivia under my cranium. --Iadiedee28 05:46, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Apology

I do apologize for my tone and reaction. I'm sure you don't like someone you do not know swearing at you right off the git-go and I reacted rather than thinking and phrasing my retort correctly. Please see my talk page for my full apology. As I said there I hope we can start off on a better footing. --Iadiedee28 19:05, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
