[edit] Managers

At the end of the 2006 season manager Matt Goddard stepped down after three successful years at the helm. The highlight being a runners up finish in the Hellenic Division One East League in 2004-2005.

After Goddard's resignation, the club looked within and appointed Kevin Baley as first team manager. Baley immediately called upon good friend and life-long Letcombe player Brian Monnery to assist him. Monnery is known for his fiery temper and mighty acorn.

[edit] Club events

The club organises ski trips, normally once every year.

[edit] Pre-season

The Club came through the 2007 pre-season with their 100% record still in tact. Wins against Wantage and Carterton the highlights. Played 6 won 6.

[edit] Crowds

The crowd average for the 2006-2007 was 48. This attendance would almost fill the 50 seater stand at the bassett road ground. The highest attendance of the 06-07 season was 81. The 2007-2008 season has brought in more spectators, with an improved average of 53 and a lowest attendance of 44, almost as high as the previous average. This shows a +10.1% increase from the 06-07 season. However, these stats are deemed meaningless by the fact that Des makes up the figures based on 'what he thinks the attendance should be'. Once, counting the 13 spectators at the game, he turned to the bench and said 'I can't put down 13 spectators boy - this is the Hellenic League, 47 sounds much better'.
