Let My People Come is an off-Broadway musical which ran from January 8 1974 to July 5 1976 in New York City, at The Village Gate in Greenwich Village, with a linear debut in London. Its run was continued in both Philadelphia and Toronto through the end of the 1980s. Subtitled "A Sexual Musical", it was produced and directed by Phil Oesterman. Its music and lyrics were by Earl Wilson, Jr. Extremely racy even by today's standards, the show featured songs with titles like "I'm Gay," "Come in My Mouth," "Give It to Me", and "The Cunnilingus Champion of Company C." There was nudity on stage during the production, but the underlying premise of the show glorified the beauty of the human form.
