Let Me Fly was the Maltese entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1997, performed in English by Debbie Scerri.
The song is a ballad, in which Scerri is reminded of a former relationship by hearing a song being played. She appears to have bittersweet memories of those "we once shared", and asks to be allowed to "fly" to reunite with her former lover.
The song was performed eighteenth on the night (following Greece's Marianna Zorba with Horepse and preceding Hungary's V.I.P. with Miért kell, hogy elmenj?). At the close of voting, it had received 66 points, placing 9th in a field of 25.
It was succeeded as Maltese representative at the 1998 Contest by Chiara with The One That I Love.
