Let Loose were a 1990s British pop/rock trio, featuring Richie Wermerling (vocals/keyboards), Rob Jeffrey (guitar) and Lee Murray (drums).

The band initially scored minor success with their first 3 singles 'Crazy For You' (#44), 'The Way I Wanna Be' (#89) and 'Seventeen'(#44), They also released 'Face To Face' which was withdrawn from sale by the record company but due to shops receiving limited stock the track still managed to chart at #108. 'Crazy For You' was eventually re-mixed and re-released in the UK entering the charts at #24 and climbing each week to finally reach a #2 peak selling over 400,000 copies in the process, The success of 'Crazy For You' lead to yet another re-release of a previous single 'Seventeen', The track was unable to match the popularity of 'Crazy For You' and peaked at #11.

After 2 hits singles under their belts the debut album titled 'Let Loose' featuring keyboard player Adam Lee was released peaking at #20 and selling 60,000 copies - Despite the popularity of the singles the album failed to set the charts alight as expected. The album release was followed by the single 'One Night Stand' which peaked at #12, The final track to be taken from the album was the ballad 'Best In Me' which according to the album sleeve was recorded in lead singers Richie Wermerlings bedroom at the age of 15 - The track became their 2nd UK Top.10 hit peaking at #8.

With 4 Top.20 singles and album to their name the band embarked on a small UK arena tour.

After a 7 month wait between releases the band returned with a new single 'Everybody Say, Everybody Do' which failed to impress their fanbase peaking at #29 - Further releases were held back after the disappointing chart position.

Another 7 months passed before a new single was released this time a cover of the 'Bread' track 'Make It With You' - The single became an instant hit peaking at #7 and giving the group their 3rd Top.10 hit in the UK, This was followed with 'Take It Easy' which again failed to impress the record buying public spending just 2 weeks in the UK Top.75 charts peaking at #25.

The 2nd album 'Rollercoaster' was released with high expectations but missed out on a Top.40 placing peaking at #42 with sales of less than 30,000 copies to date - Two months later a final single was released from the album in time for the Christmas market but 'Darling Be Home Soon' became one of the bands lowest charting singles reaching a disappointing #65, Let Loose split up shortly afterwards.

In 1998 a budget 'Greatest Hits' album was released but missed out on a Top.100 chart position. The band are considering reforming for a one off show and currently have a 'My Space' campaign to see if there is enough interest before they continue with tour plans.
