Key words: Letychiv, Coat of Arms The upper was originally presented to the town of Letichev by Stephan Batory in 1569. The Russian Imperial double eagle was added after the Polish Partition in 1792 in the lower. The wolf symbolizes the River Volk (wolf) which runs through the town.
