[edit] British phrasing?
As an American, I have trouble with this sentence from the article:
- He also fitted in becoming Moderator of the URC (1978–1979), preaching at Balmoral, and continued the prolific writing career that established him as one of the most respected and significant theologians of the Twentieth Century.
In particular, "fitted in becoming" doesn't seem correct to me. I presume it sounds fine to the British ear, but could someone rephrase to avoid confusion by non-British readers? (Also, I'd like to see more parallelism between "becoming", "preaching", and "continuing".) --Flex (talk|contribs) 20:48, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
