I believe the Leslie Duncan referred to here is the British, female singer/songwriter. Leslie Duncan was a singles artist whose career began in 1963. She sang backup on many albums including Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon." Her popularity peaked when her composition "Love Song" was recorded by Elton John and included on the album "Tumbleweed Connection." This led to a recording contract with CBS/Columbia records.
