[edit] First message
This is mainly a copy of http://www.paris.org/Musees/Invalides/, I think it has to be removed for copyright violation. -- JeLuF 02:58 Jul 21, 2002 (PDT)
- This is no longer true, needless to say. Wetman 07:43, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Architecture
section has a big gap.....need reorganization from one with skills to do so. Randalllin 23:21, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Domes
Not all domes are imitations of St Peter's. Mansart's dome is a hemispherical cap that stops the upward movement. St Peter's is an egg-shaped dome with bold ribs that rises to its lantern. Wetman 07:43, 11 Jul 2004 (UTC) Comparison will show that the right hand image is less clear and informative than the earlier version, which I've restored to the article page. --Wetman 04:45, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
- I completely disagree with you that the image you replaced it with is more clear and informative. It is much lower resolution and has a big lens flare in the middle of the frame. I've reverted it back again. Please be more specific about your issues with the image if you'd like to discuss it further on the talk page. Diliff | (Talk) (Contribs) 16:12, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Renault tank
When I visited Paris as a boy (early 1980s) there was a WW1 Renault tank at les Invalides. Is it still there? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 171.192.0.10 (talk • contribs) 10:49, 27 February 2007
- Yes, it was just mentioned in another Talk page. But there are many weapons on display, and we discuss the article here. Should more of the weapon displays be mentioned? -- SEWilco (talk) 18:37, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
- Ah. The Musée de l'Armée is also in this complex, and many weapons might be part of its displays. -- SEWilco (talk) 18:56, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
