I removed the statement that he had been knighted for charity work. As far as I can tell, this rumour started with an erroneous update to the 01/02 edition of Championship Manager, which listed him as having a knighthood.

Les Ferdinand admitted to vandalising the Blue Peter garden when he was a teenager. Also, I believe he is Rio's cousin and not his uncle.

[edit] Claim in Trivia section

Les Ferdinand has for many years been thought to have been connected with the vandalism of the Blue Peter garden in 1984, however he has always rejected these claims

Some citation should be provided for this, along with an explanation of where these claims actually came from. 217.34.39.123 13:04, 23 January 2007 (UTC)

I distinctly remember him admitting this many years later on Football Focus but how can a television programme be cited? 80.195.166.92 18:24, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Les ferdinand.JPG

Image:Les ferdinand.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 04:33, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Would he become Sir Sir Les? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Xkingoftheworldx (talkcontribs) 11:15, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
