[edit] Early Life and First Drumset

Lester has always had a love for music. He began to show an interest in playing drums at the age of 2. The table was his snare and the lamp shade was his cymbal.

In fourth grade, Lester played his first drum solo, on a borrowed drum set, at the school talent show. The kids went wild! Afterwards, they all wanted his autograph. After this event, his Dad and Mom felt it was time for him to have his own drum set. He began to play at church and with his Dad for praise and worship. He began traveling off and on in the eighth grade with Troy Covey and Seven. He started home schooling and traveling full time during his sophomore year.

He’s played drums for several different bands, such as: The Edwardsville Strings, Nu Creation, Lynda Randle, Entry No. 5, and other various artists around the Kansas City area. Lester still does gigs with Trump Dawgs and DL Sully when he’s not on the road.

[edit] Home Life

Lester married Lisa Byler in May of 2002. When he’s not on the road, he spends time with his wife Lisa and his son, Jordan, which happens to be his biggest fan. He still makes time to help others with recording projects, advice, drum lessons and is sometimes available to play drums for a Sunday morning worship service.[1]

[edit] Pillar

In 2002, Lester auditioned and began playing for a rock band called Pillar. He was replacing Brad Noone that left earlier that year. He has traveled all over the U.S. with Pillar and visited several other countries.
