The Lesser Banana Frog (Afrixalus brachycnemis) is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Malawi, Mozambique, Tanzania, and possibly Zambia. Its natural habitats are moist savanna, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, and seasonally flooded agricultural land. It is threatened by habitat loss.
