The Lesser Bamboo Rat (Cannomys badius) is a species of rodent in the Spalacidae family. It is monotypic within the genus Cannomys. It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Myanmar, Nepal, and Thailand.
