Les Essarts, Loir-et-Cher

Les Essarts is a village and commune in the Loir-et-Cher département of northern-central France.

There are 100 inhabitants.

The name derives from assarting of the Gastines forest by the monks of the Trinity abbey at Vendôme.

There is a small church dedicated to St. George situated within the communal cemetery.
