Les Abymes is the most populated commune in the French overseas région and département of Guadeloupe, in the Lesser Antilles. It is located on the west side of the island of Grande-Terre, and is part of the metropolitan area of Pointe-à-Pitre, the largest conurbation in Guadeloupe. In the 1999 census, Les Abymes had a population of 63,054. The commune has a land area of 81.25 km² (31.371 sq mi).
Pointe-à-Pitre International Airport is located in Les Abymes.
