Leroy Houston, born October 11 or 10 November 1986 in Auckland, New Zealand is an Australian Rugby Union player for the Queensland Reds in the Super 14 competition. Born in New Zealand, Houston's family moved to Australia. Houston was educated at Asquith Boys High School in Sydney. Houston originally played for the New South Wales Waratahs from 2005 where he was picked to tour with the Wallabies where he played for Australia A before playing a Super 14 game. However in 2007 the presure of professional rugby proved to much for Houston and missed many team functions and training sessions leading to eventual release from the Waratahs. Houston took time off to think and eventual decided to sign with the Queensland Reds for the 2008 season. Houston made his debut for Queensland in a pre-season trial against his old club the Waratahs. Since the injury to Hugh McMeniman in round 2 of the season Houston has been in the Reds starting season and scored his first try for the Reds against the Stormers.
