Leptopelis modestus is a species of frog in the Hyperoliidae family. It is found in Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya, Nigeria, and possibly Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montanes, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, and heavily degraded former forest. It is threatened by habitat loss.
