[edit] Lower Great Southern
Hi Leon,
May I draw your attention to Regions of Western Australia and Great Southern region of Western Australia? I'm keen to keep the term "region" for areas designated as such by the Regional Development Commissions Act.
Lower Great Southern is in fact a "statistical division", defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics under their "Australian Standard Geographical Classification".
I have rewritten Lower Great Southern to indicate that it is a statistical division and that it is contained within the Great Southern region of Western Australia. To do full justice to the situation we probably need articles for Statistical division, Statistical divisions of Western Australia and Australian Standard Geographical Classification, and a category Category:Statistical divisions of Western Australia. Keen?
I also think that articles like Narrikup, Western Australia are better placed within a region than a statistical division, so I have editted Narrikup, Western Australia etcetera to link to Great Southern region of Western Australia instead of Lower Great Southern.

[edit] Image Tagging Image:Katanning playground.jpg
|
Thanks for uploading Image:Katanning playground.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stan 16:25, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The image was taken by me, on my own camera
I might be able to find it again if I try hard.

And the Hydro engineer who was in charge of the king river scheme still has his holiday home here as well. I think you are going to find its going to get edited (not necessarily by me) - needs to be tighter i suspect...cheers anyways -SatuSuro 13:09, 8 April 2007 (UTC)

- Sigh - once again great stuff but not encyclopediac! dont expect it to stay like that - the article will get edited at some point - maybe you should try some of the parts of the landscape nearby that dont have articles or otherwise stubs - mount black, the wee goergie wood - those arts need more - even the railway bridge over the hydro scheme/river - maybe the lakes, there are heaps of other things you could do.
