[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Zweiss-sextant.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:Zweiss-sextant.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 13:45, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] No spam links please
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Freemasonry. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Uploading spam links is not acceptable. docboat 06:55, 1 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright issues
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! Please see Wikipedia:Copyrights and Wikipedia:Image use policy to learn more about copyright issues. Wikipedia accepts only free images. Please do not upload copyrighted or "for commercial-use only" images. If you are the creator of image, and are willing to license it under a free license, please use an appropriate tag on the image page (see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for details). Thank you! utcursch | talk 11:27, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Non-comercial image
If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.
If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.
If you have any questions please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. Carlosguitar 13:14, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[edit] Removing templates and adding spam links
Please do not remove templates like you did with Shahi baaja. Templates are placed onto pages so that the page may be improved and properly categorized. Once a page is repaired and categorized, the templates may be removed. Also, when making edits, please explain your edits by adding a comment in the comment box. And please do not add links to commercial sites, even if you say it's a courtesy link. Such links are considered to be promotional linkspam and will be removed (see WP:EL). I suggest you visit the welcome page for an introduction to editing. Thanks. BC 17:41, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
