[edit] Teale vs. Thiele

He did use the spelling "Thiele" in his early days [1], [2]. I remember reading an obit when he died, that said he'd been born "Leonard Thiele" and was related to Colin Thiele, but changed it to Teale. Google is not forthcoming with any verification of this, though. -- JackofOz (talk) 23:14, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
