Talk:Leonard Mlodinow
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I find the statement that "Euclid's Window" was well received a complete misdirection. In fact, Robert Langlands (defined by Wikipedia as "one of the most significant mathematicians of the 20th century" -- an accurate characterization) begins his review (available at www.ams.org/notices/200205/fea-langlands.pdf) of the book thus:
This is a shallow book on deep matters, about which the author knows next to nothing.
(the rest of the review is even more scathing). So Mlodinow as a scinece popularizer may sit well with some, but certainly not with others. I changed the adjective to "mixed" and added a pointer to the review.

Some suggestions for improvement as the article is expanded:
- Template:Infobox Scientist should be added
- Photograph should be added from a source with a free license
- Basic biographical information required, including precise date and place of birth, positions held (with dates), any family details
- Article needs expanding and should emphasise reasons for notability of subject
- Article should reorganised to give a clearer division between research work and writing
- Information on research should be expanded and references required
- References should be added, preferably in the inline format; some of the external links should be converted to references
