[edit] Telecom immunity

The article says "In 2008 he was instrumental in passing the FISA bill granting telecommunications companies immunity from prosecution for their involvement in warrantless wiretapping of American citizens, including his sending a letter to Speaker Pelosi encouraging her not to fight the bill." The thing is, that bill didn't pass. The House passed a version that exclused the immunity provision. 71.203.209.0 (talk) 21:16, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
