[edit] Need sources
This article needs references other than Leo Melamed's own website. Also, I haven't confirmed whether his publications actually exist. If someone is interested in this article, please expand. --SueHay 14:37, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Good comments, I will do so. Thanks. His books are fairly well known, especially the "On the Markets" one.--Samiharris 17:17, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Samiharris, can you add some independent references? The references in this article don't establish notability. Try adding newspaper articles about Melamed or quoting Melamed, and independent reviews of his books. Awards by professional societies are good (not just membership), but you need a source for that information other than Melamed himself. Hope this is helpful. --SueHay 14:32, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
- I shall work on that, thanks. He is definitely notable and was responsible for many financial innovations in the 1980s, but recently has not received much publicity that can be easily accessed on the web. He was all over the financial media in the 1980s, pre Internet.--Samiharris 14:44, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
