Leopold Courvoisier

Leopold Courvoisier (born in 1873 in Riehen, Switzerland near Basel, died in 1955, Riehen) was a Swiss astronomer[1].

He was appointed chief observer at the observatory of Berlin Babelsberg from 1905 to 1938.

He attempted to detect the absolute motion of the solar system through the ether, concentrating mainly on measurements of incident and reflecting angles from stars.
