Leonel Levy Lopes Bastos (born 16 August 1956 in Maputo (then called Lourenco Marques), Mozambique) is a singer, songwriter and music producer.
Bastos works mainly in South Africa. He has released three albums under his own name, all were nominated for South African Music Awards ("SAMAs"), the South African equivalent of the Grammy.
His second compact disc Simple won Best Adult Contemporary album in 1999.
Bastos had produced and written for top South African artists Yvonne Chaka-Chaka, Vicky Sampson, Little Sister, Wendy Oldfield and Ed Jordan. He has co-produced and co-written the songs on the official South African Football Association 1998 FIFA World Cup CD.
