Leonardstatuetten

Leonardstatuetten (The Leonard Statuette) is a prize awarded by Norsk revyforfatterforening, and is regarded the highest distinction in Norwegian revue. The award got its name from revue instructor, composer and director Einar Leonard Schanke, one of Norway's most important revue personalities from the 1950s until his death in 1992. First awarded in 1968, the statuette is given to persons with a significant and lasting importance to Norway's entertainment industry.
