Leo the Lion (British singer)

Leo Ihenacho (also known as "Leo The Lion"), born 28th May 1978, is a British singer and songwriter. The 29 year old first came to fame when he began singing with The Streets and has recently been on a tour throughout Europe and the USA with the group. Mike Skinner gave him the nickname 'Leo The Lion'. Leo has sung with many British acts, most notably The Streets, The Mitchell Brothers and Kano_(rapper).

Leo recently appeared on the second series of ITV's Love Island, where he met and started a relationship with Bianca Gascoigne, but was voted out on 30th July. He stated in an interview after his eviction that he may or may not continue his relationship with Bianca after the show. After his eviction, he returned for one day to speak to Bianca, who had since started a fresh relationship with Calum Best on the island.

Leo was also present at the live finale of the show, on Monday, August 28th, where he watched Calum and Bianca be crowned as Love Island King and Queen.

Leo was also seen on "The Match" along with Kano and MC Harvey.

Leo has a cousin called Donald Okpalugo, he currently attends Deerfield Academy, Massachusetts.
