Talk:Lennon Wall

[edit] 2004
I have removed the following sentence from the article:
- Even though the wall is listed in tourist guide books and lots of people detour to see it, authorities do not seem to consider it an attraction and repainted it white in 1998.
I do not believe that the claim is accurate. Yes, it was repainted a few years ago. But it is still (legally, as far as I know) used for Lennon/Beatles/peace-related graffiti, and still an attraction of Prague. - Mike Rosoft 14:24, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)
It was repainted by the owner, the order. There is nothing to see there now. Jan Vano, 11.11.2004
- I went there in summer 2004, so unless it has been re-repainted since then, there is an image of Lennon on it, but lower down and now largely obscured by graffiti, also it is in bright colours, not the mono image shown in the picture Boffy b 18:26, 2005 Feb 6 (UTC)
The wall was repainted several times. In few days the pictures (of Lennon, Yellow Submarines, flowers, etc) are always back.
