Re: "Morgan rose to the captaincy of every aircraft type Braniff flew during this period." From 1980 until the 1982 bankruptcy, Braniff pilots operated (frequently nearly empty) British Airways/Air France Concordes on spur flights between Dallas and Washington, DC; the planes, with BA/AF crews, then continued on to London or Paris respectively. Morgan was not involved with this boondoggle.
