LemonSmints is a information technology and Japanese language student, and occaisional contributor to Wikipedia, currently residing in Rochester, New York studying at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Originally drawn to Wikipedia by the simple, clean layout and no-nonsense presentation of information, I've grown to love the project because of the wealth of knowledge available and the unique 'user-edited' methodology. Often times I'll find myself spending hours just clicking around, looking up things I've always been curious about, or learning about things I've never heard of before. As a lover of language and technology, I find the information available on Wikipedia concerning these topics—especially obscure areas—to be wonderfully enriching and approachable.

As far as edits are concerned, I tend to stick to topics and/or subjects with which I'm interested in to a large extent. I stay away from controversial topics and esoteric subjects since I often feel unqualified to perform edits on things I'm not well-versed in. Being somewhat of an enthusiast on anime and manga, computers and the Internet, music, and language, I pride myself on my own wealth of knowledge on these areas and keep my editing activities isolated to them specifically.
