Talk:Lemko-Rusyn Republic
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Regarding maps: the Paul Magocsi article references "The Origins of the Lems, Slavs of Danubian Provenance: Memorandum to the Peace Conference Concerning Their National Claims (Paris, 1919)" with a "fold out map". This might be a definitive version of the greatest extent of territory claimed by the republic, I can not find a copy. You could claim that the republic actually governed the Lemko-speaking ares of the north slopes of the Carpathians, west of the Dukla Pass, in the southern parts of the Galician counties of Nowy Sacz, Grybow, and Gorlice.Pustelnik 02:03, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Former Flag
This area was definitely part of Austria-Hungary before WW I. Why is someone trying to delete this flag? Please explain.Pustelnik (talk) 12:52, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
