User talk:Leinad-Z/RCC Disclaimer

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I have have started a topic over at Naming conventions asking for imput here, and how we could get our disclaimer included over there, if deemed appropriate. --Andrew c 21:10, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Ok, so over a week has passed, and no one has commented over on that talk page. The actual project page says this: "If you wish to propose a new naming convention, do so on Wikipedia talk:Naming conventions, whilst also publicising the proposal at Requests for comment and the Village Pump, as well as at any related pages. Once a strong consensus has formed, it can be adopted as a naming convention and listed below." I did the first part, but I never proposed a RfC or posted at the Village Pump or related pages. Does anyone think this is a step we should take with our disclaimer?--Andrew c 01:16, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Hi, Andrew. I don't know how much of this bureaucratic procedures such as Village Pump works. Maybe, a good first step is to put the disclaimer on the top of the talk page of the RCC article to see if most editors agree those guidelines are good. If it is accepted, then we can proceed to see if we can make it “more official”. More official or not, I believe the disclaimer could be kept in the top of the talk page, at least as a general recommendation from the editors of the RCC article. --Leinad ¬ »saudações! 05:54, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
