Leighton Phillips

Leighton Phillips (born, 26 September 1949) was an Welsh football player. He was a defender who played 175 matches for Aston Villa F.C. between September 1974–November 1978. He was bought from Cardiff City F.C. for £100,000 and was sold to Swansea City A.F.C. for £70,000. He earned 58 caps for the Wales national football team.
