Leigh Beck School is located on Canvey Island, Essex along point road at SS8 7TD.

There are three parts to Leigh Beck: the nursery school for 4-5 years old, the infants school for 5-7 years old and the juniors school which is for 7-11 years old. The infants and juniors uniform have differences. The Juniors uniform has the Leigh Beck badge on it and the infants has a picture of the Leigh Beck infants hall.

At leigh beck they teach religious studies, PSHE (Personal Social Health Education), History, geography, Science, maths, English, music, ICT and PE.

The current head of infants is Mrs Chapman and the current head of juniors is Mr Bridge. Other Heads include:

- Mrs Morgan (Juniors)
- Mr Porter (Juniors)

The school is also used for the local elections and for the general elections. It also holds a train exhibit and a bus which is run by the bus museum which is next to Leigh Beck. During the summer and winter the school holds a fete with games and stools for charity.

At leigh beck their are various extra curricular activities like dodgeball lessons, Science club, hockey club, stamp club and ICT club.

The Leigh Beck football team has been running for three or four years and is currently on its fifth year. In the 06-07 season they came runners up in a league to Hadliegh juniors school. That year was there most successful year of all.
